Military and Veteran Counseling
The challenges of military life are unique in their own ways. The frequent deployments, time away from home, demanding work life, permanent changes of duty stations, learning how to balance military life and family life can provide their own stressors.
Military issues can take a serious toll on an individual and family’s emotional, physical, and mental health. The effects can be mild to extreme, and in many cases, service members are not able to cope with their issues on their own.
There are several therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and accelerated resolutions therapy, that can offer coping tools and new perspectives. Seeking therapy can be an empowering first step to developing a healthy military family. And while each step you take may, at times, feel challenging, uncertain, and scary, you will have someone right there with you listening and encouraging you to cross that finish line.
I will be honored to assist you along your journey as your serve this Great Country.
